Having thought we’d be able to postpone this conference and meet together in September, this is looking increasingly unlikely so we’ve decided to go ahead online in July as originally planned.
Despite being online, there will still be opportunities to meet in small groups to meet other councillors and catch up with what they’ve all been doing as well as special-interest groups where you can meet councillors in a similar situation to you for mutual support.
The conference will start on Saturday and the programme will include workshops, presentations and discussions where Green Councillors can share their ideas, achievements and tips as well as a chance for councillors to catch up with, and feed into, what’s happening more widely in the Party nationally on the Sunday morning. There will even be the usual “social” online on Saturday evening, which this year, will be a Pechakucha evening (if you don’t know what that is, all the more reason to come along!) We will finish by 1pm on Sunday.
The programme is just being finalised but you can see the provisional programme here. Please let Sally know at firstname.lastname@example.org if you’d like to run a training session or workshop.
The conference is FREE to all subscribed agc members and the cost to non AGC-subscribers is £20.
